Top seed San Miguel Beermen and No. 2 NLEX Road Warriors enter the quarterfinals with a twice-to-beat edge over Meralco Bolts and Rain or Shine Elastopainters, respectively.

Same goes for Magnolia Hotshots and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Gin Kings, who get two cracks at wrapping up TNT Tropang 5G and Converge FiberXers, respectively.
