MANILA, Philippines—Marwin Quirante has a chance to keep making a name for himself in the upcoming ONE Friday Fights 109 at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Thailand.

Following two straight wins in his young ONE Championship career, Quirante shoots for his third straight win against Torepchi Dongak of Russia in a three-round strawweight affair.

However, he isn’t the only Filipino fighter to have action on Friday.

Jean Claude Saclag also looks to solidify his name in the flyweight division when he squares up against Turkmenistan’s Shazada.

Much like Quirante, the Team Lakay member is also on a roll of his own, having defeated Fajar (Indonesia) and Lee Jun Young (South Korea) in his previous bouts.

Quirante and Saclag will see action in the same card after having their matches for March 28 postponed due to earthquakes in Myanmar and Thailand.

Both fighters are also looking to notch their 100,000 USD contracts in ONE’s main roster and they aim to do it by stacking more wins under their belts.
